Charlie the Cat Gone 6 Years, as summarized from the Daily Mail.
Jo Haigh was looking for a house for her mother to purchase. She thought the neighborhood she and her family used to live in would be nice. It was here, six years before, that her cat, Charlie had disappeared. “When he went missing we did all the usual things like going out looking for him, posting leaflets and contacting vets, but there was nothing,” Jo said.
So when a black and white cat approached who looked just like her Charlie, she couldn’t believe it. But the cat’s microchip proved it. A man in a nearby house said he’d been feeding Charlie for the past two and a half years.
Jo said, “Charlie had always been quite a friendly cat … He would often go down to the nearby stables where they would feed him. So it’s no surprise he found someone to look after him in the intervening years.”
